Examples of Refurbishment Projects Using Clay Roof Tiles:

Renewed interest in natural building materials coupled with the expanding self build and refurbishment markets is lifting the UK clay roof tile industry to great heights.
  • The colour of clay tiles is particularly important to specifiers who take on refurbishment or building extension projects. It is crucial that they ensure that the new tiles laid match the colour and style of the original tiles. Where necessary, specially crafted clay tiles give an authentic aged appearance to blend in with the tiles laid hundreds of years ago.

  • The members of the CRTC are equipped to respond to the refurbishment market demand. They have over 1,000 years experience between them and are still able to manufacture tiles, in a spectrum of over fifty colours, using traditional methods passed down through the ages by craftsmen, allowing the roofs of historic buildings to be restored to their former glory.
