The winners, the awards and the rules of entry

The winners in each category will hold the coveted 2008 Award title; receive a special clay-formed trophy; be the subject of media promotion by the Clay Roof Tile Council Press Office and be granted use of the Clay Roofing Awards logo in their promotional literature.

Awards ceremony
The winners will be announced at a lunch Awards Ceremony at Lord's Cricket Ground, London on Wednesday, 17th September 2008.

How to enter
Complete the entry form and submit with the relevant support material, as outlined in the form and rules of entry.

Rules of entry

  • The annual CRTC Clay Roofing Awards are open to any UK-based individuals or teams (architects, specifiers, planners, conservation officers, building and roofing contractors) involved in the construction or refurbishment of a clay roofing project that was completed since 1st January 2006.
  • All entries that use UK-produced clay roof tiles - whether produced by a CRTC or non-CRTC member - are eligible for participation in the awards.
  • The entry submitted must be the work of the person(s) named on the entry form.
  • Entries must be submitted on-line no later than 5th March 2008.
  • Competitors may enter as many categories as they wish.
  • The CRTC reserves the right to publicise both the awards and the winning or runner-up/commended entries.
  • It is the responsibility of the entrants to ensure that their entries and supporting information arrive on time. No late entries will be accepted.
  • The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Entry to the awards will be taken as acceptance of the rules.
  • The CRTC reserves the right to amend the award categories as required.
